Better Advice on Which Buildings and Units to Begin the Game

You’ve registered for the game, and you’ve selected a nation. The entire map lies around you, shrouded in the fog of war. Your enemies lurk beyond your borders. They are mobilizing their forces, and soon they’ll invade. You need to prepare.

Around the internet, there are players (and non-players) who are going to tell you that — no matter what country you’re using — you need to build Army Bases in every city and mobilize Motorized Infantry at every one of those Army Bases. Despite what they tell you, though, that’s not always the best course of action.

THERE’S NO UNIVERSAL BEST BUILD PLAN

What those advisors are failing to tell you is that every country is a little different, and every starting strategy should be as well. The best start for your particular country and situation has a lot more to do with the nation you chose and a lot less to do with some universal formula applied the same way to dozens of dissimilar countries.
